Yurchak Igor Vladimirovich

His native language is Ukrainian, he is fluent Russian and Polish, reads English.


Yurchak Igor Vladimirovich, is Ukranian, born in the city of Donetsk on 7 October 1957. He left school in 1974. In 1977 he entered the Lvov Polytechnical Institute, the Faculty of Architecture. In 1983 he graduated and became an architect by profession. His thesis was on “a pedestrian zone in the historical center of Lvov”, passed with excellence.


In 1983 Yurchak was sent to the city of Chelyabinsk and got a position of an architect in the architectural and planning administration of the city. Since 1991 he worked as the head of the regional service, the architect of the Leninskiy district of Chelyabinsk. He has been member of the Russian Architect Association since 1997. Since 1998 he has been a member of the Association of Chief Architects of cities and subjects of the Russian Federation.


His creative works in the sphere of architecture include:

  •   1995 – individual cottages (country houses) in Granitnaya str. In the Leninskiy district of Chelyabinsk,

  •   1995 – the project of the pedestrian (foot) area in Kirov str. 2000 – the project of the architectural and sculptural composition “The sphere of Love”, a member of the authors group working at the program “Basic directions of the development of the city of Chelyabinsk”.

  • Since 1999 Yurchak has been the chief editor of the monthly magazine “Bulletin of architecture”.


Igor Yurchak´s study tours took him:

  •   1985 –  to Germany (Berlin),

  • 1997,1999 – to France (Paris) – to the International building (Construction) Exhibition “Batimat”,

  • 1998 – United Arabian Emirates.
